Tamgroute Vase
Once you see the Shrek ears, you can’t unsee them… but honestly, that’s part of the charm. This vase has that perfect mix of chunkiness and simplicity, the kind of form that feels both quirky and quietly beautiful. You can almost imagine the hands that shaped it, the rhythm of the wheel, the moment it came together.
A true Tamgroute vase, one to simply sit and look pretty. Style it on its own or add dried flowers for an effortless statement.
Tamgroute pottery comes from the desert-edge village of Tamegroute, around four hours from Marrakech, where artisans have been firing clay by hand for generations. The village is known for its deep, elemental glazes — olive greens, sun-worn ochres and rich, shadowy browns that feel pulled straight from the landscape.
The glaze is created through a centuries-old blend of manganese, copper oxide and magnesium, mixed with Draa Valley clay and fired in traditional date-pit kilns. No two pieces ever leave the kiln the same. Each carries shade shifts, fingerprints, kiln marks and soulful imperfections — the quiet beauty of something truly handmade.
A character piece with personality — and a little humour — ready to bring its own story into your home.
